Giles Mackay has a strong claim to being the forefather of proptech in the UK. Following a triumphant track record in structured finance, performance marketing and founding the housing analytics company he sold to Zoopla, the serial entrepreneur has raised £50 million to launch an ‘iBuyer’ called Upstix and is on track to raise a further £200m in the coming weeks.
