Since 2006, Andrew has worked in real estate and infrastructure, advising investors, developers, and major asset managers on reputation, investor relations, and policy. He is best known for founding Blackstock Consulting in 2012 and selling it to Montfort Communications in 2022.

Andrew has played an instrumental role in establishing the UK’s institutional residential sector through his work with early Build-to-Rent (BTR) investors such as M3, M&G, and L&G. He has also contributed to the growth of the emerging life sciences asset class through work with firms like Blackstone, Harrison Street, and BGO.

Widely regarded for his strategic counsel and trusted advice, Andrew has worked with a range of major clients, from Cadogan and the Church Commissioners to TDR, Apache, Hermes, BAA, and John Lewis. He hosts the industry’s most-listened-to podcast, available on Property Week, Apple, Spotify, and other popular platforms. As an executive committee member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) UK, he has authored numerous reports on cities, property, and technology and is regularly cited for independent market analysis by broadcasters. Previously, he served as a spokesperson for the British Property Federation (BPF), working alongside Liz Peace.

A multi-instrumentalist musician, Andrew lives in Highbury with his wife and son. He began his career as a journalist and photographer for NME in the late 1990s.
